The Hytile Tilecutter was developed over many years by GUTHRIE MANUFACTURING (AUST) PTY. LTD and is now an industry standard in Australia and New Zealand.

The durability of the equipment is field proven, with earlier models still in use after over 25 years.
In 2009 the Hytile Tilecutter was discovered for the European market by Roel Kranenborg of the Dutch roofing company GEBR. KRANENBORG DAKDEKKERSBEDRIJF BV. This company has specialized in roofing for over 50 years. The Kranenborg brothers handle the installation and renovation of roofs and carry out projects for housing associations, contractors and private homeowners.
Together with his brother Paul, Roel established Hytile Europe BV and they signed a contract with the Australian founders of the product giving them the exclusive right to import and distribute the Hytile Tilecutter to the European market.
